Accessories are meant to complete a look. They protect, hold, shape and support the body.

During my studies at Istituto Marangoni, for the History of Visual Communication course, we were given a brief: Useless Accessories. I developed my own concept from it — Out of Service — and built the five objects the story is told with: a boot, a corset, a bag, an umbrella and a bucket hat, each one made in metal.

From the concept and the objects to the styling, the casting and the final edit, I directed the project. We shot it inside a working factory, against a hyper-feminine figure.
